Cashcrate Offers New Payment Method

Posted By Tony on July 31st, 2009

Cashcrate has always been a leading competitor in the GPT industry. And it has always prided itself in being very fair with it’s customer as well as providing the utmost in customer service. I’ve been a member for quite a while, but the one thing that turned me off from doing more with my member ship was it’s payment types. At the time, Cashcrate only offered check as its payment method, but today, Cashcrate announced that it will be adding direct deposit as a payment method. Here’s the full post:

We’re adding Direct Deposit as a new payment method that will be available to Silver+ members starting on Monday. This is a great way to get paid faster–rather than waiting for a check to arrive, you can choose to have your CashCrate payment deposited directly into your bank account!

Starting on Monday, all US members with a referral level of Silver and higher will be able to select the new payment method under ‘My Account’. Simply enter your Direct Deposit information through our secure server and your payment will be processed this way automatically starting in August. This includes earnings for July, so you’ll have about one week to make sure your information is entered and up-to-date. Enjoy!

This is great news! Now you won’t have to deal with cashing checks in every month and it allows those living in multiple locales, such as myself, easier access to our money. The prospect of reaching Silver member (50+ Referrals) might seem daunting at first, but let me be the first to iterate that when you get down to it, it really isn’t that hard to increase your referrals. If there’s enough interest I would be happy to write a post on the subject that netted me over 2000 referrals on one of my GPT sites.

The Importance of Picking the Right GPT

Posted By Tony on July 30th, 2009

Picking the right GPT program is the most important thing you can do in order to succeed in the GPT market. While you’ll still be making money on offers that you complete at a sub-par site, the amount of energy and time you spend on that site could easily be utilized somewhere else and the returns exponential. This is a lesson that I have personally learned from my experience in marketing the GPT site–Moola.

Moola TowerNow, Moola does have a lot of things going for it, since it is one of the first sites of its type. Moola gives it’s users 1 cent and then the user can play a host of games against other users where they can risk a certain amount of money in their balance in an effort to double up their money. If you ever run out of money, Moola simply gives you another cent so you can continue on your Moola adventures. A stunning UI and interactive games draw users in, but unfortunately Moola’s team drops the ball when it comes to support and payout.

When Moola first started out, they only offered cash checkouts, and you would receive your payment in a timely manner usually spanning less than a month. But as word of the site grew Moola had more on its plate than it could handle. Cashouts began to be delayed for weeks on end, but there seemed to be light at the end of the tunnel when they added PayPal as a payment type.  Cashout times once again decreased to the joy of its users. Since then, this problem has resurfaced once again with cashout times taking over 22 weeks! That’s almost half a year! To counteract this, Moola has introduced another payment method–Visa PrePaid Upside Card. The Upside card is basically a prepaid debit card that Moola uses to send its funds to users. They are now promising “drastic” decreases in cashout time, but I’m at a point where I’m not even sure what that means. Are they telling the truth this time? Or are they just trying their best to appease the masses for another period of time. Either way, there are still thousands of users that participate on Moola. Why is this? Well, like I said earlier, Moola has a great game system, but their own growth is stymied by their inability to provide decent cashout times and customer support.

Moola RefAnother key attribute that I look at when choosing the “right” GPT program is their referral network. Once again, lets take a look at Moola’s.  They offers 4 levels of referrals. Now at first this may seem pretty impressive, but when you realize you’re only getting 4%, 3%, 2%, and 1% of what your referrals make you tend to get a little disheartened. With other GPT sites offering 20-40% of what your referrals earn the messily 4% pales in comparison. I began promoting Moola sometime last summer and as you can see, I’d say I’ve done fairly well in that retrospect, but due to Moola’s low referral rewards, I’ve only managed to make hundreds instead of thousands if the same referrals were applied to a different site.

Well that’s all for today folks. Hopefully that will enlighten you on the matter of choosing the right GPT site for you!

Interview with Squishy Cash

Posted By Tony on July 29th, 2009

interviewJon, over at GPT Cash Pro, recently published an interview he had with a administrator of Squishy Cash. There, they discussed the ins and outs of Squishy Cash’s impact on the GPT scene and underscored the importance of member benefits in this day and age. Today, there is a countless number of GPT sites that you can chose from and one of the major factors that might sway you from one to another is member benefits. These can range from referral rewards to offer contests, but at the end of the day GPT sites, like Squishy Cash, know that it’s these benefits that draws users to their programs.

Jon’s full interview can be viewed here. Make sure to check out his site, as it has great tidbits of information, and don’t forget to subscribe to his blog as well!

Squishy Cash hinted that there will be a overhaul of their appearance and user interface system, but from what I understand they are also reworking their referral program to better reward its loyal users! When I hear more on this issue I’ll make sure to spread the word to my fellow viewers.

Swagbucks

Posted By Tony on July 27th, 2009

Search & Win

It’s Monday and here I am bringing you another great way of making some extra cash online. Today, we take a break from the norm and venture outside the land of GPTs. Swagbucks is not like your typical GPT as it does not have any offers. Instead, you earn rewards by doing what you already do online–searching.

That’s right folks, Swagbucks rewards you for using their search engine and why not get rewarded for something you already do? Their search engine happens to be powered by both Google and Ask so the quality of search results is guaranteed.

Swagbucks has a variety of prizes for you to choose from. These include, gift cards, IPods, memorabilia, video games, cash, and much much more. Not only that, but Swagbucks has loads of contests each and every week that give out hundreds of Swagbucks.

Personally, I’ve cashed out $25 in Amazon gift cards in a matter of a month.

So what are you waiting for? Click here to join today!

Helpful Applications That Will Make GPTing That Much Easier!

Posted By Tony on July 23rd, 2009

Yesterday, I explained in detail what it took to complete an offer. Today, I am going to show you two applications that totally stream line the process.

The first application that any avid GPTer needs to have is CCleaner. CCleaner is a great application that allows you to easily remove the cookies you have accumulated from completing an offer. Not only that, but it boasts a host of other pragmatic features that warrants its inclusion on my list.

Next up on the list is RoboForm. Roboform allows you to easily manage and store all those hundreds of emails you have created. But more importantly, it allows you to instantly fill our forms with a single click of a button. No longer will you spend countless hours typing the same contact information over and over again. Now, you can store this information in RoboForm and access it through it’s toolbar.

How to Complete an Offer!

Posted By Tony on July 22nd, 2009

TipsI’ve had a couple of questions regarding how far you have to go to get credit or to “complete” an offer, so here I am writing a few tips on the subject. Hopefully these tips will go a long way in helping you guys make money online, like it did for me.

1. Make sure that you have cleared all of you cookies prior to starting an offer, since many offers will not approve if they realize that you already have a cookie for a similar offer.

For Firefox: Tools > Clear Private Data > Check Cache/Cookies/Authenticated Sessions > Click Clear Private Data Now

For Internet Explorer: Tools > Internet Options > Delete Cookies + Delete Files > Apply > OK

2. Use different email addresses for offers whenever you can. Personally, I’ve gone through hundreds of email addresses, and continue making them whenever needed. The obvious choice is Gmail, but make sure not to go over their daily allowance of new emails. Normally, I try not to use the same email within a week, but it is okay to recycle them every once in a while.

3. Now you are ready to start the offers. The first page usually asks you to confirm your age and to enter contact information.

4. The rest of the offer deals with pages of offers that you have the choice of responding yes or no. Just select no for all of them, unless you are truly interested in the deal, since this has no impact on your approval rate.

5. The final page will be something that states that this merchandise is available for you. Pages vary from one site to another, but generally they deal with some form of special offers levels, such as Silver, Gold, Platinum. When you get here you know you’re done.

6. Go back to your GPT site and submit the offer that you just finished and wait for the payment to be credited to your account!

It really is just that simple. Tomorrow I will be posting some key applications that all GPTers should have that will make making money that much easier!
