Is Lockerz a Scam? Part 3

We’re already on our third installment on Lockerz. So what’s new? Well, as most of you have noticed, there has been quite a bit of site instability surrounding Lockerz. There has been multiples days where the site has been down or it was simply not loading on your browser.
Lockerz has recently responded that despite these set backs they are making progress with their site upgrades. And they have even released the release date for their next batch of items on the PTZ Place prizes.
There will be a new batch set to release, Tuesday 9/15 at 5 PM EST. New items will be added and the price on existing items will not rise from their current prices. Unfortunately, there will only be 4x of each item, so if you arrive late, you might find your favorite items out of stock.
This leaves roughly 20 days before the redemption day. If you joined today, and only logged in and did the dailies every day, then you’d be looking at roughly 80 + your registration points. This is already enough for any Xbox360/PS3/Wii video game, and for ~1-2 minutes of work a day, it’s not too shabby if I do say so myself.
Feel free to contact me if you are interested in joining! Make sure to put “Lockerz Invite” in your title or something of that sort so I don’t miss your request.

Is Lockerz a Scam? Part 2

Last Friday, Lockerz gave users the option of redeeming gifts, but their store sold out of the items in a matter of hours.
Obviously they weren’t expecting this great an influx of traffic, so both their stores and site were unable to handle us all. What does this mean for us now? Well here is the official announcement from Lockerz:
To all Lockerz members: First of all, thank you for your ongoing support of Lockerz and the input you’ve given us to make it better. We’ve been inspired by your passion, and to be honest, unprepared for the enormous numbers that we’ve grown to over the past two weeks.
We launched PTZ place as a small pre-launch test to teach early members what your PTZ would buy when we launch the full site in October. We also wanted to learn what worked and what still needed development. Thanks to you, we found out that we have a lot of work to do. Your feedback continues to be our engine for change. We are going to wait to post the next prizes until the site is fair and stable for all users. We estimate it will take about three or four weeks to bring Lockerz site performance, security and inventory level to where it needs to be for our current membership numbers and beyond. We will give you updates on our progress every Tuesday.
In the meantime, here are the things you should know:
1) All current prizes legitimately earned will be fulfilled and shipped. You’ll get them in 7-10 days from when you redeemed.
2) You can continue to earn PTZ, invite friends and make the Z-list while we do our work.
3) We’ll continue to ship Z-List T-shirts as you make the list both in the US and globally (allow 7-10 days for shipping).
4) PTZ values will not go up again when we post in a few weeks or even at the October launch.
5) When we do post the prizes again, we will have more than 4x the number we posted in this past week at the same prices. Thanks and keep earning while we’re working 24/7 to make Lockerz what we all want it to be.
Is Lockerz a scam? Only time will tell. Their employees have a strong track record and they have promised to send out all gifts that their users have redeemed so far. Personally, I have yet to redeem anything, so I am unable to comment on this, but come October, I’m sure that I’ll have enough points to get that IPod Touch
.
What do I recommend? Well, participating on Lockerz takes less than a minute everyday, so I will continue to support the site. I’m already pretty close to hitting the Z-List so a free T-Shirt isn’t too shabby either!
Feel free to contact me if you are interested in joining! Make sure to put “Lockerz Invite” in your title or something of that sort so I don’t miss your request.

Is Lockerz a Scam?

The Get Paid To community has been in an uproar after the launch of a new rewards based site–Lockerz.
Questions have been brought up about the legitimacy of a site that rewards you for doing just about anything.
So what is Lockerz?
Lockerz.com is a brand new site that rewards you for just about everything you do. Registration is very easy and members can earn points extremely quickly. One of the main reasons why its popularity is spreading so rapidly is because it’s very easy to earn enough points to redeem a variety of merchandise. This includes MacBooks, Designer Handbags, Video Games, iPods, Nintendo Wiis and much more.
How it works
You can earn points in 3 ways:
1. Logging in each day.
2. Answering the question of the day.
3. Referring new members.
For example, in the first day alone, I got 23ptz through registration, 2 ptz for signing in, and another 2 ptz for answering the question of the day. All this for a grand total of 27pts! What does this all mean? Well, I can already redeem many videos games such as GTA4, which is priced 25pts!
Is Lockerz.com a legitimate website?
As a testament to the legitimacy of Lockerz.com, its CEO, Kathy Savitt, used to be Vice President at Amazon.com and the CMO at American Eagle. Lockerz.com major financial contributors is Liberty Media, which owns a major part of Time Warner, which is the firm that supports Bodybuilding.com and QVC.
Currently, Lockerz is in beta and access is invitation only.
To get an invite:
1)Please subscribe to my blog!
I only get a certain number of invites per day, and want to focus on rewarding my loyal readers.
2)Please contact me if you are interested in joining! Make sure to put “Lockerz Invite” in your title or something of that sort so I don’t miss your request. I’ll make sure to double check with my email subscription list to insure that you’ve subscribed to my blog.

The Gmail Dot Trick
Most of you avid GPTers probably already know of the Gmail trick that improves your offer approval ratings, but for those that don’t, it’s time to shine the light on this age old method. This method allows users to reuse the same email address for multiple offers.
To accomplish this, all you need to do is create a new Gmail account with a relatively long username. The reason that you would want a fairly long username is because this will allow you to generate more combinations with the dot trick.
For example, if I had the email address: Cybercashcows@gmail.com
Then I would be able to use:
Cybercashcow.s@gmail.com
Cybercashco.w.s@gmail.com
Cyber.cash.cows@gmail.com
ect.
All of these will map to your same gmail account, but offers will recognize each of them as an unique account. This allows you to get a lot more use with each account, rather than having to constantly create new unique gmail accounts.
Hopefully this information will improve your ability to make money online!
On another note, Cyber Cash Cows is coming to its 1 month anniversary, and I am currently planning some sort of promotion for this event. But right now, we still have a couple days before that day comes, so I would like to turn my attention to the readers. What do you want me to write about? Is there something that you’ve been wanting to learn more about, but never had the opportunity? Please leave a comment or feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding the GPT industry or any questions with making money online in general!

CashCrate August Contest!
Cashcrate is having a promotion this month! Their contest focuses on the most money earned through offers and daily surveys. All you have to be is one of the top ten earners for the month of August and you’ll be rewarded up to $75. Even tenth will yield $25 for the lucky earner and this is a great way of making some extra cash before summer ticks down.

Stop Doing Brandarama Offers!
Brandarama has declared bankruptcy and declared that it will not be able to pay for the offers completed during June/July. Some of the affiliate partners have speculated in honoring these payments, but right now this cannot be confirmed. So if you have any pending Brandarama offers, chances are that you won’t be getting credit for them and GPT sites should begin pulling them from their sites. If they are still available make sure to avoid completing them, since you’d be wasting your time and energy.
